COVER DESIGN
Covers that sell the book inside
A cover has one second to tell a reader what kind of book this is. Our designers create covers that fit your genre, read clearly as a thumbnail and look just as good in print.

How It Works
How it works
Brief: genre, comparable titles, mood, must-haves and must-avoids.
Concepts: initial directions to react to.
Refine: revisions on the chosen direction.
Final files: ebook cover and print wrap, sized for your page count.
Genre
Designed for your genre
Readers judge books by their covers in milliseconds, and they look for genre signals: the type style of a thriller, the color palette of a cozy mystery, the illustrated characters of a romantic comedy. Our designers research your genre's current bestsellers so your book looks like it belongs on the shelf, and still stands out.

Questions and answers
Do I need a different cover for print?
Print needs a full wrap: back cover, spine and front, sized to your trim size and page count. The front can match the ebook.
Who owns the cover?
You do, subject to the licenses for any stock images and fonts, which we document and hand over.
Can you design a series look?
Yes. A consistent series design helps readers find the next book. Get a cover quote /contact?topic=services
