The Odyssey

After the fall of Troy, Odysseus spends ten years trying to get home to Ithaca, past the Cyclops, the Sirens, Circe and the anger of a god, while suitors besiege his wife Penelope. The original adventure story, and still one of the best. IMPLEMENTATION NOTE VERIFY→ translator (Samuel Butler's prose, PG #1727, or Alexander Pope's verse, PG #3160)
