Something New

by P. G. Wodehouse

Public domain · Free4.7 (3)

"Something New" by P. G. Wodehouse is a novel first published in 1915. This comic story introduces Lord Emsworth and Blandings Castle, satirizing English aristocratic life and American wealth. When an absent-minded earl accidentally pockets a millionaire's prized scarab, two aspiring writers separately infiltrate the grand estate—one posing as a maid, the other as a valet—to retrieve it. Amid romantic entanglements, midnight thefts, and the elaborate hierarchy of servants, chaos unfolds in the English country house. (This is an automatically generated summary.)
